Organization Input - Suggestions Appreciated


Good Morning Everyone.

We are looking into making some major changes in our organization and I was hoping to get some input from everyone.

Do you have any Point of Care tests that are collected by one employee but performed by others?

Is laboratory specimen collection performed solely by phlebotomy or do you have department staff (NCA, Nurses etc..) collecting specimens? Is this delegated by job category, department or location?

What Laboratory Information System is used? Pros and Cons?

What EMR system is being utilized? Pros and Cons?

Any information and insight you would be willing to provide would be greatly appreciated.
