Point of Care Troponin

Our facility has expressed interest in adopting troponin testing in our ER dept. I'm trying to gather more information regarding available resources/methods used at other hospitals for more prompt treatment interventions in the event of strokes.
1.  Are other facilities using point of care devices to test for troponin in the ED or are these samples sent to the central lab? 
2. What troponin testing method(s) are other facilities using in the ER?
