instrument inventory list

: "I am looking for ideas on how to keep track of equipment (glucose meters) that are in inventory or have been returned and replaced by the vendor.
Our hospital has 280+ glucose meters in inventory. The vendor contract says that we purchased 300+ meters. I am sure over time some of these have been lost but we have no way of tracking them.
