POC glucose controls 90 days vs. 3 Months

: "Hello,

We use the FreeStyle Precision Pro glucomter from Abbott and the controls that go with it. We have been having some issues with our nursing staff labeling the controls with a 3 month expiration date rather than the required 90 days.

Has anyone had any success with creating a policy stating that the controls are stable for 3 months rath..."

Separate CLIA license for nursing

: "CAP has separated precision (COM.40310) from Accuracy (COM40300). Does anyone have a new policy regarding this?
Can controls be used for Precision also? What about LJ charts?
New POC coodinator.
