Said: : "We only allow our designated lab staff currently.  We’ve indicated that clinics can designate a staff member as long as they possess a Bachelor’s degree and have been approved by the lab as demonstrating competency.  So far no taker’s."
Said: : "Thanks for the input. Who is allowed to sign off on the competency? Only the point of care coordinator or other designated nurses?"
Said: : "Hi Hollie, We will soon be using the Actim PROM. I called CAP and they said to order: ROM1 Rupture of fetal membranes. That is 2 shipments a year with 3 samples. Hope this helps, Leah"
Said: : "No they are the new yellow Safe-T-Pro Uno lancets. They are replacing the blue lancets. We do have the option of ordering the purple adjustable lancets, but they are more expensive."
Said: : "Are these the ones that are adjustable for depth? I haven't seen the replacement lancets personnally as Nursing handles this device. I do know they have an adjustable one that replaces the old version. Just a thought."
