Ocular pH Implementation Supply Questions
Researching ocular pH to implement in our ER.
Some people are using two levels of QC, some three. How many do you think are appropriate and why?
Anyone have a QC product reccommendation?
Anyone take away QC from floor staff and put it on the POCC to ensure regular completion (Very low-volume test performed by providers. IQCP if not day of patient testing?)?
Strips: wide variety available. Do you use a single strip centered on 7? Or two strips (0-7 and 7-14)?...

Inadequate Disinfection / Big Topic
One of my biggest struggles is keeping POCT equipment clean. The more attention I pay to my equipment, the more I find.
I posit that: end users wiping devices down with disinfecting wipes between patients does not adequately clean/disinfect any device over the long term without additional cleaning measures (unless it is a VERY well designed device).
