Medtronic HMS Plus and Hepline Kit
Is anyone using the Hepline kit for linearity studies? I know they are not required, but we are utilizing for some initial validations. I used the kit on ACT-HR and it looks great. However, for HPT testing, it doesn't create a linear line. I used the kit with Red, Tan, Silver, Blue and Green cartridges. Results were 33, 32,,32, 32, and 41 seconds. (DELETED) Implementing PTS Diagnostics A1CNow+ instrument
Our POCT department might be implementing three A1CNow instruments in the outreach program. They will not be used on patients but will be used in the community and subject to oversight by POCC's.
POCC here-- I have no clue where to start with the implementation. My hospital does not perform A1C testing so I don't have a basis for method comparison. I have never used a disposable instrument like this before! Does anyone have any information to share? I'd love to learn more ab...
