ACT testing in the Cath Lab
: "What analyzer(s) do you use for ACT testing in the Cath lab? We are currently using the Hemochron Signature Plus with the ISTAT as a back up. Being a pediatric hospital, the Hemochron can be problematic because of high hematocrits. It also seems to fluctuate. The docs do not like the ISTAT for ACT testing."
