POC CBC in Peds Cancer Clinic

We're currently evaluating a request to add a point-of-care (POC) CBC analyzer to our on-site pediatric cancer clinic to improve turnaround times. The primary purpose of this testing would be to help determine whether a patient can be discharged without requiring a transfusion, rather than to guide treatment decisions.

Is anyone currently using a POC CBC analyzer in a clinic setting operated by nurses and/or medical assistants?
