We use RALS middleware at Norwalk Hospital in CT.  The critical values (high or low) for Glucose flag.  It is my responsibility to evaluate and then upload into the patient's chart.  I was wondering what is the practice at other hospitals?

Is your laboratory responsible for the expenses of Point of Care Middleware or is this a shared expense?
