Does anyone have a NOVA statstrip SOP that I can take a look at. I’m a new POCT coordinator and our lab is switching from accu-check to the statstrip at the beginning of the year.

Hello - I am doing the same here and would appreciate the share also. my email is martinellig@ellismedicine.org We are now in the beginning of the project. Also, question for anyone is already using NOVA glucose; What cleaning wipe are you using on your Nova meters? Are you using the EXACT Clorox wipes mentioned in the manufacture manual or an expectable substitute? How are the meters holding up to use and cleaning?

We have used the NOVA glucometer for three or four years with great success. We use the Super Sani-cloth germicidal disposable wipes by PDI or Sani-cloth bleach germicidal wipes by PDI. We have not had to replace too many glucometers. If we do, it was due to user error...heavy object falling on it and breaking screen, quality control or blood inside test strip port, etc. Thanks!
We have used Nova after changing from Roche and have been using the PDI sanicloth wipes. The meters have held up well.
