Middleware switches and why

To all,
I am interested in those who have switched middleware and why. I am most interested in switches to and from the major players (Telcor, RALS, UniPOC/PWEB)
I am also interested in likes and dislikes, what you would like to see in these management tools that could be different or better.....anything at all.

We (large system, 20+ hospitals) have not recently switched, but have been Telcor customers for more than 20 years. I have always been super happy with their overall services, customer service and their willingness to rise to any challenge we throw at them. No complaints - ever! Rather than think of switching, I instead am always hopeful we'll never be forced to switch!
