Could someone please send me the latest peer data from CAP on ACT so I can compare method performance? We are looking to change from Medtronic ACT plus to iSTAT.
Thanks!

Me too please!!
Danyel I have a form that is the system difference limits with CAP and CLIA that came from Werfen and iSTAT. It states that CAP acceptable criteria is +/- 20% and CLIA is NR+/- 3SD.
I have API data would that help? Sorry i am wrong as API has totally different samples for iSTAT, hemochron, etc it really stinks cause Proficiency testing was one of my "go to's" for accuracy/precision information method to method. I looked at CAP but we haven't used CAP for ACT for years. Currently use iSTAT - it is more precise for certain. I use to have hemochron and iSTAT and do q 6 month method to method - the iSTAT takes "forever" as it counts the actual seconds but several iSTAT's will match each other with same sample. the Hemochron was quicker but results of several hemochrons didn't even match each other let alone the iSTAT so.....
Patsy - sure, I'll take what you have! Thanks
i also meant to say that one my perfusionist would love a Medtronic - he is pretty "with it" compliance and knowledgeable - so may be a great solution for ACT. They look a little big and bulky in comparson to our old iSTAT and Hemochrons.
I have CAP iSTAT ACT if you still need it.
I would greatly appreciate any data - contessa.hall@ochsnerlsuhs.org
