Waived PT/INR Instruments

Hello everyone. Looking to get some recommendations on waived PT/INR instruments that are not the iSTAT or Coag-Sense. We are looking to implement in an outpatient department. Thank you!

We use the Roche CoaguChek XS Plus for our waived INR testing. The device works pretty well for us and correlates well to our Laboratory instrumentation for INR testing, which is the ACL TOP analyzers.

Coaguchek by Roche Diagnostics.  They are pretty efficient and easy to use and train staff.  Coaguchek XS Plus is waived and can be interfaced. The Coaguchek PRO is non-waived (works the same as the XS Plus but has a barcode reader for scanning).

We use CoaguChek XS for waived INR; easy to use and train.

Another Roche Coaguchek here. No connectivity option for us so we use the XS Meter, waived. Antigoag RNs and fam med RNs and Medical Assistants use with no complaints. Also (knock on wood) I don't get clinician complaints of discrepancies.
Note: we do impose a 'cut off' that dictates a lab draw.

At all of our ambulatory sites, we use the CoaguChek XS Plus, which is waived and can be interfaced. The only disadvantage that I'm not a huge fan of is the lack of a barcode scanner. Overall though, it's very reliable and we don't hear many complaints from clinical staff, as voiced by other responders.
