Does anyone have a program they use to monitor their operators/users?
Our records are all in file cabinets right now, we're hoping there is a better way to document initial training, 6 month, 12 month, and semiannual competencies.
I'm open to any ideas, and I would love to hear what everyone's methods are!

You could make files on your computer and scan the completed competencies in the computer.
Most of the testing we perform is waived, however I use our Learning Management System to track the Provider Performed Microscopy competencies. We currently use Cornerstone.
We built a form in 365 that mimics paper competency and it is entered that way. You are able to pull the whole competency in a report.
We use MediaLab. It sends out email reminders 1 month before competencies are due to both unit educators and POC department. I do not think that it is overly expensive. I had great joy when I was able to toss out the last of my binders' worth of paper competencies a few years back.
I use my middleware, Telcor QML, to track due dates, etc. I also scan training documents and annual direct observations and link it to the operator profiles in QML. Next year I am adding the learning module which will connect with our elearning system to automatically mark off online education completion.
We use the existing systems to manage operators eg.Aqure, cobas infinity and for competencies these are paper based which are scanned and keptin a folder on shared network drive.
