NICU Gases Error Rate

We have Radiometer ABL90 gas instruments and are currently not using the Radiometer capillary and syringes but a "compatible" collection device type instead. We were with the understanding that our collection devices are acceptable to use. Our current sample aspiration error rate is at 3% with a full year of data.
What I don't know is:
What is the normal aspiration error rate with any instrument?
What are others getting?
What is your rate?
If you are using the ABL90s in a NICU population, what is your rate and are you using the Radiometer collection devices?
Thanks in advance!

I do know that the NICU samples do have a higher rate of aspiration errors vs the adult patient samples which is largely due to the users attempting to draw the very minimum amount needed to run the assay and occasionally they miss judge. This is more noticeable with staff that have less experience with the system and improves with time.
