POCT Medical Lab Scientist 2 - Vanderbilt

We're looking for a POCT MLS to join our program at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. This person will serve as a technical consultant and will work with POCT areas to ensure regulatory compliance. They will complete rotating tasks and work with others on the team to support POCT across a large academic medical center system. We're in search of self-reliant problem solvers who work well with others but are also independent and can complete tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
 
The ideal candidate must be board certified as a medical laboratory scientist, qualify as a CLIA technical consultant, and have at least 1 year of POCT-specific experience. State of Tennessee MLS license is required for the position, although it can be obtained after hire within a specified window. Vanderbilt Medical Laboratories is looking for motivated individuals that fit into our transformative culture, so attitude and fit are a high priority.
