Hs-Troponin Peds

I was wondering what are peds hospitals planning for the roll out of the hs-troponin cartridges since they are not validated for peds? We are planning on validating the troponin for our Alinity, however, our medical director was wondering about a backup plan if the instrument is down for repair. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Said: Hey, just an FYI - because the GEM 5000s perform 5 levels of calibration every 30 minutes, you do not need to perform linearity. This has been confirmed by CAP and CLIA (and NYS DOH).
