Said: Once you put the batteries back in and turn the i-STAT on it should unlock the cartridge it may take a few minutes. You can also try selecting the #1 button it can be used to eject a cartridge after it unlocks.

Cartridge locked on iSTAT device

Hello Group
I am posting this question on behalf of a coworker from our hospital network. Have you experienced a locked iSTAT cartridge that cannot be removed even after removing batteries? Is there any other way to troubleshoot this issue or the only solution is to replace the meter?
