Use of fleas/mixing bars on GEM 5000's
Wondering for those of you that run capillary samples on GEM 5000's if your staff use fleas/mixing bars on these samples? If yes, any issues? If not, any particular reason why? Thanks!

Avox 1000E Proficiency Samples with RALS Interface
Recently, my hospital interfaced the Avoximeter 1000E to our LIS system with RALS being used as the middleware.
Every time I run a proficiency sample, it is tagging as a patient. I even listed the proficiency sample as a material in RALS. I enter the "Lot #" (proficiency ID) as the patient ID since there is no where else to enter this information and it is still coming up as a patient. I am thinking maybe it should get run as QC, but CAP surveys are to be run in the same mat...

Sysmex POCHi Interface build
I am looking for anyone who may have a Sysmex POCHi interfaced to your LIS. We are currently building ours to go into Telcor QML and then on to EPIC.
