AVOX in the CATH labs
Hi there,
Does any CATH lab not use AVOX or any other oximetry analyzer? If they don't, how to do they do stent or procedures without the HBO2 result?
Our hospital currently houses 3 meters and 2 are out for repair :( Not a usual situation. They are rightfully worried about having to cancel procedures if the 3rd one goes down. Online it shows it's possible, but nurses here did not think so. I'm jus...

Nova Stat Strip Users that use Telcor and Epic
Issue: Has anyone had an issue with the glucometer scanning a patient's armband ID (linear barcode), changed one of the numbers to another digit, that number matched another patient's ID in the system and posted the result to the wrong patient. Since the number that was scanned "incorrectly" matched an active patient in the system, the "Patient not Found" warning did not populate.
