epoc TCO2 linearity validation
Hi All,
We are in the middle of our epoc validation and have come across a problem with TCO2 specifically. Our reportable range is 10-50 but the calibration material the vendor used while on site to validate only went from about 6.5-30. We know there is a GAS-ISE Metabolite Level 6 that would help us reach the high end of our range, but the vendor stated that customers typically do not need this for the validation. Can anyone elaborate on how they have gone about validating withou...

Am I Overdoing It with my CAP Quality Cross Checks
I would like to get some advice.
We have two (2) GEM 7000 in the main lab and also four (4) GEMs at the point of care.
I ordered CAP Proficiency Testing (PT) and also CAP Quality Cross check.
I initially ordered the CAP Quality Cross solely for the instrument to instrument comparison but it has become a hassle to ask the end users to run it on the instrument. Quality cross checks has 3 pairs.
