ACT Signature + results

I have old Signature Plus instruments in EPS.  Recently, they are complaining that when running 2 instruments side by side, they are finding a 15-20% difference between the two machines.  What is your experience with differences between two different SIgnature + machines using the same cuvettes.

I would say that is entirely reasonable.  It's a crude test at best, on a sample that is essentially dynamic and in a constant state of flux/instability (as it moves toward clotting in its collection container) as the seconds/minutes tick by.  I only expect a +/- 15% correlation when I am comparing SigElites to each other.  Add in variables like, is it the same sample being tested, are they not necessarily testing them simultaneously, and all bets are off...
