Waived testing options for FLU+SARS

We currently use the Sofia 2 for FLU+SARS Antigen FIA testing.  I oversee 2 outpatient clinics that use this product, and it is grouped together under an agreement for our Medical Group offices.  Our medical group is going to be transitioning to a different platform at the beginning of the year.  With the 2 clinics I oversee that use this test, I don't believe we will be able to meet the volume requirements to maintain the current agreement and therefore there will be pricing differences and new terms.  I was just looking to see what else everyone was using that was waived, and a good fit for small volume offices that tests for FLU+SARS as a combo test.  We may stick with the Sofia 2, but just exploring all options. My email is aholland@catawbavalleymc.org if you prefer to respond via email.

Thanks!

We use Abbott’s ID Now.

Abbott ID Now works well for us. They have a Covid with reflex to Flu option (Covid must be run first, since COVID era rules). If Covid is positive, you do not need to run Flu and no extra charges for the patient. Nasal swab for both. You need just one swab to run Covid and Flu.
Also, you can always add Strep or RSV if needed.

We use BD Veritor. They offer COVID, Flu A/B, or the triplex test that does all at the same time. Nasal swab no matter which test is ordered.

StatID Pro Flu Covid Kit is an option. This is the CLIA waived Influenza options CLIA - Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments
