Have you ever had difficulty communicating with Nurses/POC device operators, Hospital IT staff, or Physicians?

Sure you have.

That's why the subject of the 2016 POCC Forum during the AACC Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo is 'Talking the Talk... Overcoming the Barriers of Communication'.

But We Need Your Help!

This interactive, informative and entertaining forum will use real-life challenges from POCCs and lab professionals like you! Led by Whitehat's Rick Import, the 2016 POC Forum will provide techniques to help understand the perspectives of the people we communicate with before we shape our responses.

We look forward to seeing you at the POC Forum, but whether you plan to attend the 2016 AACC Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo or not, please tell us about a communication challenge you have or have had that we can use as part of our discussion.

Is this a breakfast event?  Will tickets be available at the door the day of the event?

Yes, this is a breakfast event and begins at 7:30am on Thursday, August 4. Tickets will be available at the door but dependent on available seats.

Registration details should be on the AACC website soon and I'll post that link as soon as it becomes available.

In the meantime, more on the Forum can be found at http://www.pointofcare.net/CPOCT_Forum_2016_Survey.htm and you can also access a PDF of the event at http://www.pointofcare.net/CPOCT/2016_POCC_Forum_022316.pdf

Hope this helps.
