- Fall Application Deadline: Thursday, November 19, 2026.
Application Requirements
- All applicants must submit a letter from their current supervisor and one additional reference letter attesting to their experience in POCT.
- Applicants must have a two-year degree in medical laboratory science and four years of direct POCT work experience
OR
- A four-year degree in a biological, chemical, physical, medical laboratory science or nursing and at least two years of direct POCT work experience.
Application Steps:
- Resume or curriculum vitae (CV) submitted as a single PDF.
- An education transcript (degrees earned outside the United States also require a credential evaluation report).
- Personal Statement describing your POCT work experience.
- Letter from a supervisor documenting your POCT work experience submitted by the applicant.
- One letter of recommendation from an individual other than your supervisor submitted by reference directly to the application portal.
- Application fee.
Exam Timing:
- 150 questions, multi-choice exam taken online.
- Exam is available twice each year. (February and August).
- Next exam week is February 15 – 18, 2027.
