When the CRNA's perform the blood glucose in the out patient OR they document those results in the anesthesia record. There are no manual logs and never put into the nursing flow sheet or lab tab of EPIC. This site is inspected by Joint Commission. What do your facilities do to be compliant?

Is the expected range included in the anesthesia record? At minimum you need to have that with each result.
All of our glucose meters, even at off site facilities, are connected to the hospital network and are downloaded to RALS which sends results to the electronic medical record.

I would tend to agree with Lois - is it possible for you to convert this site to the same equipment that you are using at your base hospital, assuming your base hospital is interfaced to EMR? Probably your easiest solution.
We use RALS as an interface, and this works very well.
