Thanks Ramona

You're welcome Arnel.

Coincidentally I've been reading articles on QI this week along with some on Hyperglycosylated hCG (h-hCG (I'm going to a lecture on this tomorrow)

Here are a few others that may be of use if the setting is appropriate:

  • Inpatient Wristband Identification Error.

  • Patient satisfaction

  • Specimen Inadequacy and Rejection.

  • Proficiency Testing Performance (for those of us who participate in external quality monitoring programs)

  • Critical Values Reporting

• Mislabeled/Unlabeled specimens

• Specimen Rejection (QNS, wrong type, clotted, hemolyzed)

• Incomplete manual test logs

• Reagents/test kits not labeled with “in-use” date or modified outdates when open

• Corrected reports

• Critical Values

• Unacceptable QC results without repeat

• Lost samples
