I'm new to point of care and I'm wondering if facilities make nurses document lot number/expiration of hemocult/gastrocult testing cards? Is this done electronically or on a manual log?

When we get in a new lot, our LIS person enters it in the computer so when the nurses go to enter their hemaprompt results in the computer, they get a drop down where they have to pick the correct lot number that they are using and there is also a spot to enter that the QC was okay.
What LIS do you use Kelley?
