ACT testing with Medtronic ACT Plus

Our hospital system currently uses the Hemochron Signature Elite for ACT testing. One of our physicians is asking POC to look into the Medtronic ACT Plus for our neurovascular lab. Does anyone have experience with the Medtronic ACT Plus?

Why does the physician prefer the Medtronic ACT Plus?
He does not have any experience with the Medtronic ACT. He has asked us to take a serious look at it based on recommendations from another neuro doc.
