Hi!, We are about to do Method Correlation. The question, is it for the same Methodology only or can we use for other methods and what is the acceptability criteria? Thank you!

You can compare it to another previously established method. For example, we compare our whole blood glucose to lab-based glucose.

I run them between each POC device as well as our main lab instrument. keeps inspectors quite happy :)

If your facility does not have a formal policy or process for method comparisons, I would encourage you to do so. Depending upon your accrediting agency, this should be a mandatory document which would include the how to along with the determination of acceptability of the testing results. I have no experience with regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia, so I do not know what applies to you.
