Hi, we use the Amniotest nitrazine swabs from Pro-Lab. It is mod. complex test. We perform two levels of liquid QC made by the manufacturer once per month and with new lots and shipments. IQCP has also been established since we don't run two levels of LQC daily. Hope this helps!
We use the pHizatest paper by microessentials and run two levels of known buffer controls each day of patient testing. The process is CLIA waived.
We use AmnioTest but have them run the QC daily so as not to have to do an IQCP. ivy
Ivy - can I ask, how often is your daily QC run? once every 24 hours, or every 8 hours? Thank you!
We use pHizatest from Microessentials as well. We follow the package insert with regards to the 30 day QC on opened rolls. I also QC new shipments. This is a CLIA waived test. And I use 5.0 and 7.0 buffers for QC.
