ABL analyzers and RALS

Hello all, does anyone use RALS with the ABL blood gas analyzers. We have two ABL 90's and one ABL 820. How do you monitor the monthly QC, since the QC does not chart on the L-J graph for pH , pCO2, and pO2 because these are reported as temp corrected values, and therefore RALS does not accept any calculated values. I would like to see what others do.
thanks,
Milan

Hi, we actually use Aqure. It replaced Radiance and is quite nice. We can manipulate the analyzers remotely which is very convenient. The monthly QC charts are very nice and they also show when lots of solution packs change.
Do you use the Radiance Data Management System with your ABLs? There are QC reports there.
Also, (especially if you do not use Radiance), you should be able to upload your monthly QC for a WDC report (peer comparison), which of course would include your own analyzers.
Milan,
The RALS ABL 90 issue with charting for those analytes was corrected in RALS version 5.14. Those analytes now chart correctly on the Levey-Jennings Page. If you have the ABL’s connected to RALS, you can request an upgrade to your
RALS system by calling Customer Support at 877-627-7257
