Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you that work in a pediatric hospital use the i-STAT ACTk for ACT testing in your cardiovascular OR? If so, do you know what your perfusion team uses as their medical decision point for going on bypass?

Thanks,

Lindsay

We've used ACT Kaolin for at least 10 yrs. in CVOR; they previously used the old Hemochrons and > 480 secs. as the target. Comparison testing showed we could lower
it to about 450 sec. but they decided to stay with > 480 secs.
