Thank you for that it is greatly helpful. We have a training / competency form but this position was still classified as Chemistry tech and they are now trying to change the title and description. I am also hoping I can get them to change my hourly rate because I am doing more than the normal tech with way more responsibilities... I am a doing manager, supervisor and tech roles... what is your guys current hourly rate if you don't mind me asking?
This is a copy of my competency. Maybe between the 2 you can develop one that meets your needs. I also saw the salary question. I am not sure of our new range (we just had a market adjustment here) but I can tell you it falls between the lead tech position and supervisor pay.

Hi Joseph,
At Rush Copley, they treat the POCT Coordinator position like a lead tech. Here a lead tech is basically equivalent to a bench supervisor role. The pay is in the mid thirties.
