Good morning. My Cardiac Cath Lab has acquired a new instrument, Cardohelp by Maquet. It is a small portable ECMO. It displays Hgb and O2. Are these considered lab tests??? Does anyone have any experience with this instrument?
thanks!

Since it is measuring the parameters in a closed circuit, it is not considered a lab test by CLIA standards.
