Proficiency for ACT+ and LR ACT

Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone out there does both tests but only subscribes to one proficiency survey? We are CAP accredited and I subscribe to 2 proficiencies, 1 for ACT+ on the Medtronic and 1 for LR Hemochron Response. I was thinking about dropping the proficiency on ACT+. Reporting is per analyte and technically, I already report ACT on the Hemochron. I asked CAP and their answer was very wishy washy at best.

Hi Carol,
I use both the CT2 for ACT-LR and the CT3 for the ACT+. We only use the ACT+ for open hearts but they still need to do proficiency. I rotate the CT2 through my other meters that use the ACT-LR and subscribe to the CT2Q to correlate the rest of the LR meters. We have all Hemochron Signature Elites. I correlate the + with my loaner.
Hope this helps,
