Glucose meter options

We are evaluating new glucose meters for our facility. The brands on the market for hospital bedside use that I'm aware of are:
Nova
Roche
Abbott
Hemocue
Are there any others of which I'm not aware? Just want to make sure I look at all options.
Thanks,
Susan

The only other one I found was Arkray Assure meters. I have no experience with them.
We really like our nova meters. They are approved for capillary use for critically ill.

Nova also has the ability for the operators to put the results of manual tests in. We use it for recording our FLU, RSV, Strep, Fecal Occult Blood, Urine Pregnancy
and AmnioTest results.

I am not advocating or advertising for any meter but be aware that Roche INFORM has had ability to enter other testing as well. OTE Other Test Entry.
We currently use the Nova meters and do take advantage of the manual result entry option. Thanks for the responses.
Hi Nova users,
My hospital uses Abbott Freestyle but are looking into the Nova glucose meter. We also were considering the manual test entry function for kit testing. Those of you who use this function, would you share the pro's and con's, what middle ware are you using, training, and any helpful info.
Thanks!
Our POC department uses the Nova StatStrip Meter. We have been using the manual entry function since it was first introduced and it has worked very well.
The middleware that we are using is Telcor.
HI Karis,
Do you know what the extra cost was for the manual result feature?
Hi Susan,
What middleware does your facility use?
Hi Shea,
We use Telcor.
Susan,
Thank you. We are switching from pweb to RALS and was looking for someone who uses RALS to see how easy/hard the build is.
I see that you are currently using NOVA, are you all looking to switch?
Hi Shea,
We have Nova and use it for manual entry along with RALS. Nova does not charge for manual entry use. There are lots of tests built and everything is easy to track in RALS. It has made oversite of manual testing much easier.
Our Nova contract has expired as well as the meter warranties. We are looking at all options.
