Experience with Roche IT 1000?

Does anyone use the Roche IT 1000 alone for middleware purposes? We currently use Telcor and are very happy with it, but are evaluating glucose meter alternatives. I understand from Roche that the IT 1000 will work with Telcor but can also be used as a stand alone middleware and that I can get all the same types of reports, etc. directly from it, thus eliminating the need for Telcor. Any information of how well this actually works is appreciated.

I use Roche IT 1000 for the accu chek Inform II. The cost is good compared to RALS. And it catches results where the incorrect financial number is used on patients. So they can be corrected. But it requires
a lot of clicks for any entry of new operators or generating of reports.
For details, you may contact me.

What kind of reports can the Cobas IT 1000 generate? My diabetes team pulls reports from RALS and I wonder if they are similar.
Thanks!

I use cobas IT 1000 as middleware for our accu chek inform ii, urysis 1100 and cobas b221. pretty handy cause you can generate results such as LJ's and even linearity.

We currently utilize Cobas IT1000 for our glucose middleware system. You do not get the same reports with this system that you do with Rals. We had Rals previously, and it was much more user friendly. Just running a report for critical values alone in IT 1000 is a nightmare in my opinion. And as mentioned above, entering new operators is extremely more time consuming than it should be. Also, when reviewing reports, the system only provides you with the operator ID. You have to flip between screens to determine who the operator is that completed the testing. The price is much cheaper than other middleware options, but we have found it is worth it to pay the money. Feel free to contact me if you would like.
Hi Jonathan and Jennifer,
Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.
Jennifer, I may reach out to if we go this route.

No problem! Please let me know if I can help. IT 1000 may work well for your processes, and just did not work to well with ours. I'm happy to share so that you can better determine if the system will work well for you.
Thank you all for the information. It's really helpful.
