interface/connectivity
I am looking for information concerning connectivity. We use Telcor as our middleware between the glucose meter and istat to Cerner. We have physician offices that utilize Athena as their EMR and they manually enter their POC results. We
have Clinitek Status’s that I am interested in interfacing to Athena but not sure how to go about it. The hospital lab does transmit results from Cerner to Athena but again I am not sure how that happens. Do I need an interface for the Clinitek to Telcor and
another interface to Athena? We use a Financial # (8 digits) as the patient ID where Athena assigns a number that could have a random length….Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Liz
