elearning interface with UniPOC or Telcor for certifying operators

Are there any sites that utilize automated certification for operators? Are you only using the interface for glucometer recertification? If your using for recertifications on I-STAT, how does the interface handle initial, 6-month, and 12-month competencies along with the operator completing a learning module twice during the first year? What issues have you encountered?

We recently automated our E-Learning interface with Telcor. Every night, Telcor receives the information from the interface and updates applicable users with the completion date of any POCT modules that have been completed and the quizzes passed. This has helped significantly with the workflow for the POCCs in our office - we don't have to spend hours manually recording E-Learning completions anymore. We do not currently have I-Stat in use at our hospital.
Hi- we have had the Telcor elearn interface for a few years now. Our elearn quizzes are set up in Peoplesoft to auto assign at the correct intervals (this is managed by HR information systems friends). Our "new employee" quizzes are designed with a quiz/PPT portion and then a hands on training sign off portion. When the quiz is completed and the trainer signs off, then the quiz crosses to Telcor. The trainer has to email me that this is completed.
When I activate this new employee, Telcor auto sets the recert date for 6 months. Then at 6 months they get another elearn and hands on touch base. When I tell Telcor that this is done, it set the recert date at the one year from original training date. I've attached what our setting look like.
This has helped tremendously - it's still not totally hands off but it's pretty close. I've been trying to be more intentional about making notes in Telcor calling out "6 month competency" or "1 year".
Once an operator gets to the yearly compentency point, we perform all those at a competency fair and completion of that also files over to Telcor. When Telcor sees a completed elearn and completed comp fair, the operator gets auto certified for 1 more year.
