Barometric Pressure for Blood Gas

I am wondering if any other labs record in their daily maintenance and temperature for their blood gas analyzers the barometric pressure?

Yes, we record it everyday.
We have the I-stat and it captures this and stores it with each result in our middleware.

Thank you Vivian, does anyone know if this is a CAP requirement and if so could you direct me to the area in CAP manual. I am being inspected this year and this is my first inspection as Point of Care Coordinator. I have gone through enough inspections with CAP in the other areas I worked in.
Hi Joe,
We have EPOCs and they capture and record it with every test in RALS also. We are TJC and I have never been asked about this but if they did, I would show them the documentation in RALS. I don't feel it's necessary to make operators document redundantly. Not sure how CAP feels about it. Of course, I probably jinxed myself as we are in our window for inspection. :)
Good luck with your first inspection! I'm sure you'll do great. Hopefully this will be my last one.
