Full site competencies for techs that float

I recently was informed we will need to do full competencies on all techs at every site they may float to. We have five clinics in our system which isn't alot compared to most of you- I'm curious to see how other people are handling this.
Charter a bus and drive all (20) techs to all clinics and do the same comps at each site....

I am interested in how others handle this also. We have a lot of float pool nurses and contract staff.
Per our CLIA inspector, we do have to complete full competencies at each site on everything, even if same kit, test format, etc. We may just look at some of our staffing practices, but we have to have flexibility in coveri g too, so I will be very busy. Does anyone have MLTs do competency checks on other staff? I only have one MT that is now casual, so I have been doing all comps.
