iSTAT Lot-to-lot

Hello All,
I was wonder what you all are doing for lot-to-lot comparison on new lots. I currently run QC to verify that the cartridge have not been affected during shipment but that does not seem to be enough. Do you have a spreadsheet?

TJC here. We don’t do lot to lot on any istat cartridges. Does Abbott recommend it?

We use QC for lot to lot comparison. I use an excel spreadsheet with calculations and the acceptable CLIA limits for each analyte. We only use one cartridge so I just run all 3 levels on on each lot to show the lot to lot is acceptable. If in range I sign off; if anything is out of range I bring it to pathology for review.

Hi Brenda,
Email me if you want my Validation/Lot to Lot Spread sheet at bpost@ghvhs.org
Lot to Lot Template.xls
This is what we use. 2 levels of QC on old lot and new lot. Compare using Allowable Errors limits. Have never had one that hasn't passed.
