Ophthalmology POC Tests

Hello~
Does any one have an Eye Center that performs Tear Osmolarity or the Inflammadry Tear Test for the MMP-9 Protein?
Any feedback or helpful hints? Our eye center will be adding both tests.

In our organization, there is an Ophthalmology clinic that have been using the TearLab system to measure the osmolarity of human tears to aid in the diagnosis of dry eye disease. I am not aware of the MMP-9 Protein test.
Do you oversee the testing as a POCC or does the clinic manage the test?
Our clinic uses TearLab and we just stopped using InflammaDry (MMP-9). The department was using the tests before I started (and I am the first in my position)(POCC) so I have been playing catch up. I will say that our opthamology department techs (MAs?) do a really good job of performing and documenting QC, but there isn't a formal training/competency guide/sheet yet. This is something that I am still working on. If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to try to answer them.

We do oversee this test and is part of our CAP activity menu. We manage the quality assurance by providing initial training, annual recertification, quality control and temperature monitoring; and biannual correlations.
