Hello,
For those of you using the i-STAT cTnI cartridge can you please share your cutoff values and interpretation? We are in the process of establishing our own cutoff but we are comparing to the Lab's high sensitivity troponin assay. Also, do you have values for "Negative", "Intermediate" and "Suggestive"?
Thank you,
Jose

It’s important to note that each facility should establish its own reference ranges and decision levels based on its specific patient population and clinical context. Comparing these values with your lab’s high-sensitivity troponin assay can help refine your cutoff points.
I use this cartridge at just one of my outer clinic locations.
Negative: Less than 0.03 ng/mL
Critical: Greater than or equal to 0.60 ng/mL
We use the hsTrop in core lab as well and I tell the providers they need to recheck the patient in house if transferred from this clinic. All of the reference ranges are different for hsTrop.
