Hello All
Can network hospitals share their POC training competencies or there is a requirement that it is hospital specific?

They have to be Facility specific. Different CAP #?
You can share initial training but you cannot share competencies.
Sent via Groupsite Mobile.
If you are talking competencies for moderately complex testing, they need to be completed at each individual CLIA site and if there are differences specific to that site, they must be addresses/covered in that competency.
Some of my RTs float between our 2 hospitals and they have to complete competency at both sites. Now, these happen to be identical competencies because there are not specific differences.
We were cited on it by sharing competency records between the hospitals.
We were told since they have different CLIA numbers that each
( although competency test, eval, etc are the same )
operator should have their competency records for each facility.
