Middleware AQURE vs RALS

We are currently using RALS middleware for our glucometers and iSTATs. We are evaluating moving to another middleware for our glucose meters, iSTATs, and our new ABL90s. Respiratory wants to use AQURE. Has anyone else converted from RALS to AQURE? The price is much less with AQURE so what am I missing??? Thanks!

We are AQURE users. This software is really nice for managing Radiometer instruments and operators. Some of the features I especially love are the real-time QC and status information on the Dashboard, Remote access to the instruments, lock-out for operators, and the monthly reports, including changing of consumables and LJ Graphs. Some of the things I am not so fond of are the inability of the system to keep up with 6-month, 12-month and annual competency dates, and clearing of the issues list. However, I have devised a workaround for keeping up with 6-month, 12-month and annual dates within AQURE using the COMMENT section. Regarding the ISSUES, we are still working through how to best use it.
I would NOT recommend use of the FLEXLink portion of the system for Radiometer/AQURE for positive patient ID. We are still trying to go live with this piece but keep finding things that do not work as we were told they would.
Good luck!
