Is anyone using the Sysmex XW-100? What are your thoughts on it? Have you encountered any issues that Sysmex was not able to resolve in a timely manner?

Thank you,

Our Immediate Care facility has one and have mixed feelings. The pros are it is waived, easy to use and inexpensive. The cons are, it cannot be interfaced, it suppresses a lot of results and the reagents are a bit more expensive than the Emerald we were using. In our setting, the benefit of it being waived outweighs the cons simply in terms of regulatory relief for the staff. They send out samples that have suppressed results or check low hemoglobins low hemoglobins on the Hemocue.

The company was good to work with and responded promptly with any concerns we had.
