Hi! We were told after the first year of licensing fees for Telcor we do not need to pay for any vendor fees (renewal) except for annual Telcor fees
Does Telcor truly support every thing they say they do it does Telcor still need other middleware or software(like istat DE) for some devices
Thanks everyone!

You will still need device managers for some instruments. DE Server for i-STAT, IT-1000 for Roche instruments.
We have De Server on Telcor Server, not sure of charges with that. We also have NOVAnet connecting to Telcor, but I believe that we are not charged additionally for that if my memory is correct.
Hemocues require a middleware: Operators and reagents are maintained in the middleware and not telcor.
GEM4000/5000 require a middleware: Operators are maintained in the middleware and not telcor.
With each instrument type, Telcor has a varying amount of "interface". Some with full two way interface, reagent and operators. Some instrument with only one way interface, reporting results, operator, QC to QML but no communication back to the instrument. It depends on the instrument type.
